Let’s talk about the best affordable hotels in London.
Random fact, I love London! I know I always say this about almost every city I talk about, but London is honestly one of my favorite cities in the world!
With that being said, London isn’t the cheapest city in the world at all. But if you do it right, and plan your trip well, London shouldn’t be that expensive.
London’s hotels and all stays options are pretty expensive. I must admit, It was a challenge finding an affordable hotel.
I must mention though, that London’s hotels prices will change according to the time of visit – if you visit London in the middle of the summer (July-August), prices will be higher then visiting London in February-March.
Because of the challenge I faced when I planned my trip, I created a list of affordable hotels in London!

The Best Affordable Hotels in London
Mimi’s Hotel London
The Mimi’s Hotel s located in the central area of London! And to be more specific – at the Soho neighborhood which is one of the coolest neighborhoods in London!
There are many nice restaurants, bars, nightlife, and stores. Also, the hotel is close to an Underground station!
The Amsterdam Hotel is located in the Kensington neighborhood which is pretty close to Hyde Park.
The hotel is located in a lovely area, and it’s only a few minutes’ drive away from Buckingham Palace!
There are a few museums in the hotel’s area – the Design Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Nature History Museum, and more!
Henley House Hotel
This lovely 4-stars hotel is located between the Chelsea neighborhood to the Kensington neighborhood!
It is actually pretty close to the previous hotel we’ve talked about, so there isn’t too much more to say.
Hotel Edward Paddington
The Edward Paddington Hotel is located near the most famous park in London – Hyde Park.
It is located in the Paddington area, there is an Underground station 2 minutes away from the hotel which is amazing!
I’ll tell you a little tip for traveling London; since London’s attractions aren’t located in one area, and they are all over the city, you don’t have to stay exactly on Oxford street, or exactly in Central London.
The only thing you should really care about is where the nearest Underground station, how close it is to your hotel and how much time does it take from the hotel to central London and to other areas of the city that you are planning on visiting.
The Edward Paddington hotel is perfect to stay at because it is right near the Underground station, and also a few minutes away from the Paddington train station!
Also, there is an airport shuttle option to and from the hotel!
Central Hoxton Shoreditch
The Central Hoxton Shoreditch hotel is located in the Shoreditch neighborhood which is one of the coolest neighborhoods in London!
Shoreditch is where all of the cool graffitis is! It is also a must-visit attraction, these street graffiti tours are such a fun experience!
The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from an Overground station, and there is also a mini-kitchen area which is perfect for traveling on a budget!
The Fielding Hotel
This lovely 4-stars hotel is located right in the central area of London!
It is only a few minutes away from the famous Covent Garden! And there is also an Underground station a few minutes walk from the hotel!
As I said, the Fielding hotel is located in central London, and there are so many restaurants, shops, and bars near the hotel!
The Coronation Hotel
The Coronation Hotel is located in the Kensington area, near the famous Hyde Park!
There is an Underground station a block away from the hotel, as well as many restaurants and bars that are all over the neighborhood!
