I visited London in the beginning of December 2019, it wasn’t freezing, the weather was actually pretty great, so that’s why these looks don’t include huge coats and jackets.

Also, just another disclaimer, since it’s been over a year since I visited London, I couldn’t find every exact piece you see in the pictures. So, I found some dupes online to help you copy the look!

This is what I was wearing at our first night out in London! We landed in the afternoon, and after a two hours nap in our lovely hotel, we got dressed and went out to eat at a delicious Chinese buffet!

After a long day of exploring London, once again, we were looking for a place to eat 😉 But found BEAUTIFUL street Christmas decorations!

If you are wondering what to wear in London in May, layer up and wear long-sleeves, long pants, and a coat or lightweight jacket. The weather will be cold but there will be sunny days, so plan for a cold day but take the layers off, if you get hot! London will get warmer towards the end of May!

How do I not look like a tourist in London?

1.Don’t stare and take pictures in the middle of the street
2. Stand on the right side of the escalator!
3. Look busy, stare at your phone
4. Don’t smile at strangers
5. Get your oyster card ready, don’t hold up the queue

What is considered rude in London?

Invading someone’s personal space is considered rude in London. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to get too close. this includes noise pollution, like speaking too loud on the phone or to your friends on the Tube.

How should I dress for going out in London?

You should opt for smart casual when going on in London. For men: T-shirts, button up tops jeans, and branded trainers or leather shoes and Women: An LBD will do with heels (little black dress).Clubs with smart sexy dress codes expect sexy dress-up and more classy looks. Your best little black dress or button-up shirts are safe bets here.
