Once you are done strolling around The House Of Tiles, please head to Torre Latinoamericana.

Making a trip to Xochimilco is one of the trips that you should make while in Mexico because it is one of the best areas to visit in Mexico City. The main attraction in Xochimilco is The Floating Garden which is full of colorful gondolas called Trajineras.

11. Palacio De Bellas Artes, Known As The Palace Of Fine Arts

A traditional style market that sells classic Mexican handicrafts and folk art such as wool blankets, loom-woven blouses, hand-blown glass, mirrors, stone-plated jewelry, Talavera pottery, and more!

When you are visiting La Ciudadela, please use the word Cuanto cuesta (how much) as a conversation starter as you will need to do a lot of bargaining in this place.

Mercado De San Juan is the largest covered market in Latin America with more than 3,000 stalls within an area of 40,000 square meters located in the heart of Guadalajara Jalisco.

From both native and imported fruits and vegetables, fresh seafood delivered daily, and gourmet meats, you name it, the market has it all!

This lesser-known museum, located in Xochimilco, houses the art collection of the Mexican businesswoman, Dolores Olmedo, and includes the largest selection of Frida Kahlo and Diego Riveraโ€™s works.

The setting is fabulous, with amazing sculptures, many native Mexican trees, as well as the peacocks and Xolos (Mexican Hairless dogs) which roam the areas. A great place to get your pictures without being photobombed by other tourists.

Are you telling me to visit a university to get Instagrammable pictures? Yes, you got me right! UNAM is located in downtown Mexico and is the largest university in Latin America.

One of the highlights or interesting features of the campus is the murals. Itโ€™s incredibly cool! And Iโ€™m not even kidding! The most famous one is at the central library. 

A ten-story building covered with massive mosaic stone murals (cool isn’t it?) done by Juan Oโ€™Gorman. The tiles/stones had to be collected from all around the country and no paint was involved! BRILLIANT!
